Added 1 new A* page:Well I am getting awful at managing to set aside the time on Wednesdays to rescan and rephotograph one of the remaining original A* ink pages for a special weekly sale on eBay. In a belated recognition of that, I did however manage to take a minute or two to whittle down the remaining trove of select ink pieces to oh I think five or six, from double that number or whatever it was. So this handful(+) left is the creme de la creme, and um some day I may manage to start putting them back up in what used to be weekly sales. : P (After those though we can go back to more contemporary, watercolor pieces, which don't need rescanning or reshooting. : D)

Added 1 new A* page:The Washington Post has an article about the space suits being developed by SpaceX and Boeing for use on their commercial space vehicles, which may start ferrying passengers to the International Space Station as early as 2019—if they can get a bit better at making their deadlines, maybe. Anyway, both companies have come up with a fairly slender, form-fitting design, with a narrower helmet than the classic NASA dome; they're basically just to protect passengers from depressurization: "this gear is specifically not intended for spacewalks, so it doesn’t need to provide the same bulky protection from dust and debris, or temperature fluctuation."

Added 1 new A* page:Still running kinda late. Let's see, space news... Well, I was driving to the dentist during a partial eclipse yesterday, which was kind of fun. You know, Jupiter, which is nice and wide, and has a small axial tilt, has five moons that nearly always cast a shadow on it at some point in each of their orbits. That's the place to be for eclipses!

Added 1 new A* page:This week's special original art sale from the inky A* archives is the 16" x 6.75" black ink illustration I made for episode 18, page 69, where Selenis and the Major are approaching a certain mysterious asteroid inside the Voort Cloud (a charged particle field). I used a whole lotta really dark black ink on this one, it just feels different to pick up, almost rubbery. : ) And for the next week you can lay down your bid for it, starting at a special low, low price right here on eBay.

Those super folks supporting the comic at the $3 and higher level on Patreon will get hooked up with their complementary copy of the e-book at the beginning of next month. : D And the A* Super Express Pack of all completed e-books—also available on that page—has been updated with the new e-book as well, bringing it to a whopping 3,075 pages—all the A* comics I've got, yours in one fell swoop for just $20.
(I had intended to make some kind of blog remarks when we hit the 3,000th page—but I guess I got so preoccupied in just making the pages last episode that I forgot to keep count of them! : P So woo, 3000 pages! : DDD)

Added 1 new A* page:This week's special auction of original art mined deep from the inky A* page archives is the lunar vista in which our heroine covertly observes star-crossed Earth's Revival members Paxton and Caines as they make their way back to their secret base on Nena's moon. Whew, that's a lot! In other words, it's the original 17" x 7.5" (bigger than I make 'em now—I used to leave out more in the margins : P) ink wash illustration I made for A* episode 17, page 83, and for the next week only you have a chance to pick this unique piece of A* art up at a special low, low sale price right here on eBay!
