I have two weeks left before I'll be heading back to the ol' home town for family holiday festivities, and I'll be continuing to holiday through New Year's, which means I won't be around to mail off any A* artwork people purchase during that time, which means I can't put the new page artwork I do each day up on eBay, as I usually do, because eBay wants you to mail it within 3 days of the auction ending.
So starting with today's—which incidentally is the kick-off of episode 39! : D—the new A* pages for the rest of 2019 will be going up for immediate and direct sale through smbhax.com...and I figured I might as well go ahead and make them half-off while I'm at it. : ) In fact, *all* the A* watercolor pages I have left, which are normally $50 each, are just $25 each now, and will stay at that price through New Year's.
The link to the original art for each day's new painted page will be in the blog post here—down at the bottom; and on smbhax.com, when browsing the comic with the Menu toggled on, links to the other pages that are still available will show in gold "original art" text under the lower left corner of their comic image.

Added 1 new A* page:And that's the end of episode 38! If all goes according to plan, I'll get my episode 38 files all tidied up over the weekend, and the episode 38 e-book made and emailed out to those lovely folks supporting my Patreon campaign at the e-book level and up, and mm get enough of my plan for the next episode squared away that episode 39 can start on Monday! Hopefully. ^_^
38 was about as domestic an affair as we're likely to get in A*. In 39 we'll take a little trip outside the city.

^ "Parker's cameras, which look out the side of the spacecraft into the solar wind, have provided some of the first evidence confirming a nearly century-old theory: the presence of a dust-free zone near the Sun."
That's the word in a tweet by NASA, vividly pictured in the included photo, describing one of the surprising findings in initial investigations by their Parker Solar Probe. So far—according to NPR—Parker has flown within 15 million miles of the Sun three times; in 2025, it is scheduled to fly within 4 million miles or "about one-tenth the orbital distance of Mercury."
NASA's main article on their initial findings is here; along with the dust-free zone, it includes big picture items like the solar wind near the Sun rotating faster than predicted, "quick reversals in the magnetic field and sudden, faster-moving jets of material" in the solar wind near the Sun, and "many more tiny energetic particle events [or "particle bursts"] than we ever thought."
