I thought that ended up being a pretty neat look. I used a finer pen than I had been before—a Rotring Tikky Graphic 0.1 rather than my usual 0.3; it allowed for sharper detail, and the thinner lines gave a greater contrast with the large Faber-Castell artist series "big brush" marker used for the thick lines. But I can't really do nice long smooth lines with it, so here I disguised that by leaving the long outlines to the big brush. Not sure I'll ever be able to do nice long independent lines with a thin marker, but I'll try practicing with it more. : )
