Hello there!

Congrats on getting the first episode up. It was really an intreguing piece, obviously we recognise the style ;)

I'm a huge fan of animes like Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, Cowboy Bebop and the Tenshi sagas. Those shows had a large portion of their setting in space and I really enjoyed that kind of futuristic sense and style. So, obviously the space aspect caught my eye.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops, the first episode got my eye anyway. Also, one of my best friends is nicknamed Barny! XD

I got a classic Toonami vibe from it as well. There just might be a familiar tune in my soundtrack to that end.

Ahh Toonami.

I have to fork out for boxsets now because there's no anime on British TV at all. :'(

Anyway, best to stay on topic! I'll wait 'til the contest thingy is announced and then see if I have time to mash something together. >_>

I actually haven't seen any of those! I picked up Cowboy Bebop recently, thinking hm you know this is in a bit of a similar vein, I should probably check it out, but haven't watched it yet. I also picked up both seasons of Galaxy Rangers (not anime exactly since it was written and storyboarded in the west), which I *have* seen before, although not all sequentially, so I'm looking forward to sitting down for that one, too.

Outlaw Star was great fun, and I hear its rather similar to CB - haven't seen the later. The Gundam franchise is like Japan's Star Trek - lots of different sequels, spin offs, side stories, etc. Wing was the most popular in the west so far, but I can't reccomend the original series (or, rather, the subtitled movie compilation trilogy) enough.

Tenchi... eh. It's that "guy is harrased by a half-dozen alien women in love with him" concept that seems unusually frequent in anime. *shrug*

Salut! This is really cool. I can't bring myself to distract you more than that because I hope you're busy with the next installment. =)

Whats not to like, right? ;)

I watched all of them as I grew up, along with most other toonami anime's. Can't say I've watched them recently except Outlaw Star and GW. Too many spin-offs and sequels for me to follow of Gundam Wing, Wing was great though.

Not yet! I think I'll have the script done by the end of this week, though. It'll have a few new characters who will be important in Vero's story, and we might even learn Barny's full name!

Oh, he is! But "Barny" is short for something.
