I liked how groggy Vero sounded. Appropriate, what with being knocked out for four weeks. I also liked the helmet echo. I think the music volume is too low - I could barely hear it at all.

And there's something wrong with your voices.zip file - windows, winrar, and 7-zip can extract it.

Hm, all right, I'm going to tweak the music volume up a bit, and a few of Mar's scene 4 lines up a bit too--those were the ones that were getting drowned out. I turned off "2.0 compatibility" on the zip file because it was coming out huge (14 MB instead of 6). I'll see if I can play around with that.

Thanks for looking in to it. I'm working on integarting your voiceovers with my custom soundtrack. Adding sound effects in this time, too.

Okay, give ep 1 a listen now (make sure you reload it), and let me know what you think! Music's a bit louder. I can't turn it up much more than that without also having to crank up the volume on the voices, and I think those are pretty much at the volume I want. The music's intended for the background, for the most part, although I raised the volume of the crescendo during the pistol-whip scene somewhat, and on the ominous tone over the title sequence. I checked into the .zip compatibility issue, and it looks like you're just going to have to use a recent version of WinZip. Its new compression is far superior to "compatibility" mode (6 vs 14 MB), and better than WinRar (7 MB). I've updated the voices.zip with the volume tweaks I made (Vero's "seal up, Barny" line, and Mar's three lines before he gets knocked out). SEPET asked, so I've also uploaded a .zip (similarly incompatible) of the music tracks I used. They're numbered in the order in which they play. The trickiest bit is a little 6-second filler I made to fit a gap as Vero stops the door from closing and enters Mar's room.

Ah, WinZip! Haven't used that in ages. Filler audio shouldn't be a problem, movie makers make it really easy to space things out. (Though, WMM only allows one track at a time. So I wind up having to make three seperate renders for each episode - one for music, one for sound effects, and one for voices. I may wind up upgrading to Sony Vegas around the summer, we'll see.)

(Lemme know what you think of the tweaked ep 1!) I saw Vegas being used when I was at SOE. It was used on some of the MXO cinematics, for instance. Looked like a pretty decent program.

Listening to EP 1 redux as I type. Much better sound mix. I like it. I giggled at Mar's "what?" .

Quality stuff, especially considering that its all royalty free. Now, I don't want to beat a dead horse, but was your pronunciation of corp/corps intentional? Not a complaint, just want to be sure I'll be using the final version of the lines in my attempt.

Okay, whew. I'll go ahead and get to mirroring it on Newgrounds and deviantART then. Heehee! Pronouncing the "ps" ending is probably the correct way to go--I just like to keep them silent for some reason. It isn't really a word, just a plural abbreviation, so you should definitely feel free not to follow my goofy pronunciation.
