The file's over 15 megs, so it should take a little while for Youtube to process it.

Low quality version's up. Not sure how long until YT adds the high quality option.

What piece is it that plays when Mar comes on? That made me chuckle. And the driving rock over the end credits is so anime-like, heh. Nice feeling in Mar's pistol-whip "Damn it," too. Looks like a complete entry! So, now I guess we'll just wait and see if any surprise entries come along before midnight. >_>

That would be "united army of earth", from the anime Tekkaman Blade. The first one is an instrumental version of "Just Communication" , which was used as the end credit theme in the edited english dub of Gundam Wing. The second is "Reenact", which was used for the second end credit roll in Killer7 Yeah, Duke really did a great job with his dialogue.

Incidentally, I had meant to do this after this contest anyway, but since we got another entry for this one, I'll do it now: Just a rule change so that the top three entries will win. That's easier, and sort of nicer than the original complicated version that only had one winner if there were two entries, and only two winners of there were three entries. There will still be a places assigned based on poll results, of course!

JLS, that was some killer sound work. *But*, your video isn't quite the right aspect ratio--it's squished vertically. Maintaining correct aspect ratio is one of the entry stipulations, so I can't accept this version. However, if you can fix the aspect ratio--starschwar has a thread about how to maintain correct aspect ratio in Windows Movie Maker, if that's what you're using, and a similar technique might work in other movie making programs--I'll accept the adjusted entry. Since the entry deadline has now passed, starschwar & ArchDuke's entry, as the only existing complete one, wins. JLS, if you do get the aspect ratio corrected, just send me a link to the corrected version, and I will add it permanently to the episode 1 page as contest winner #2. EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot that I was gonna tease both entries about pronouncing the silent "s" in "corps." =D Here's Merriam-Webster's take on it: http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/ ... .wav=corps
