There is now an official
A* channel on YouTube. Episode 1 is
there, and even in HD!
YouTube's player can be jerky--watch the beginning, and if the first thing you see is just a little white curly thing in the upper right, rather than a dash of light across the screen, and especially if you don't see the "e" in "hole" get sucked into the "*" in the logo--ie, it just disappears--then YouTube has struck again.
I've found that on my computer, anyway, the HD version of a YouTube video usually plays back better than the regular version, only you have to do this:
1) Click the "HD" button on the control panel below the video to switch to HD (ie YouTube's larger "high-definition" display, currently a not-quite 16:9 ratio at 854x479--as opposed to their regular display resolution of 640x360)
2) Wait a second or so as the movie loads and starts playing
3) Drag the round place marker in the play bar below the video back to the far left end--the beginning of the video--and let it go
Now it *might* play back smoothly like it's supposed to. Yay!
