Updated the support A* page with notes on joining the forum, and getting a custom A* avatar, and made the listing of which episode current contributions can claim credits space for a little clearer.

Made the bookmark buttons give a little more feedback: now when you're on the comic page you have bookmarked, the "bookmark" and "goto" buttons will be grayed out, to indicate that you're already at your spot.

I've updated A*'s RSS feed to show the daily comics right in the feed, instead of just links to them. So, now you can get all the comics straight from the feed and never have to come to the actual sight and help out my page hit numbers. ;_; ;) But if you should want to, the feed also has the A* site menu, right inside it! And the comics should show up in the news articles that get pulled through to A* on Facebook (no I'm not smart enough to have a "fan" Facebook page for it, I just use my own page ;D); they might be slightly tiny-sized there due to Facebook's shenanigans, but you can click on 'em to jump to the full glory version if you like. The feed of A* on LiveJournal will be similarly imagified once it decides to update itself. Likewise, the Princess and the Giant RSS feed and the One Off RSS feed now have those comics right inside them as well. Feed, feed, feed. A big thanks to Tom Dell'Aringa of Marooned for a recent study he did on comic reader preferences regarding RSS feeds, to the helpful writings of Calamities of Nature's Tony Piro, which revealed the useful ways in which one can big-up their RSS.

- Added "List" links to the Princess and One Off RSS feeds so you can jump quickly to their archives from the feed. - Added links to Facebook "fan page" things for A*, The Princess and the Giant, and One Off. "Pages" on Facebook can't take RSS news feeds like personal pages can, so I'm not sure how useful these will be, but hey, they're there and you can "Become a Fan" of them and all that, so other peeps on Facebook will see you dig the comics. - Added a color version (sort of rainbow sherbetty I think :o) of the Princess and the Giant 468x60 banner, going to run an minimal-expense ad campaign with it to see what kind of response it gets:

Added a new icon in a few sizes to the icons page: Guess which episode that comes from? Guess guess guess! Okay, fine, it's this one.

I get asked about this fairly often, so I figured I'd add a blurb and Wikipedia link about the actual A* to the about page:

In case you're wondering, yes, there really *is* a supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy: Sagittarius A*, so named by scientific observers because it appears as the brightest part of a high energy radio source, denominated "A," located in the constellation Sagittarius when viewed from Earth. Sgr A*, the center of the Milky Way galaxy, about 26,000 light years from Earth, is roughly 4,000,000 times as massive as the Sun.

Added a "skyscraper" format ad image to the Princess and the Giant thread: Also kind of looks like a bookmark, hm!

Updated the favicons (those little site-specific icons that appear in the address bar and bookmarks) to support higher resolutions, so if you say make a desktop shortcut to A* from Internet Explorer (Firefox just seems to save shortcuts with the default Firefox icon), the shortcut will have a nice sharp "A*" logo icon.

The A* news archive now has next/prev links, so when you're browsing news by month or individual post (or if you just read all the way down to the bottom of the site's front page), you can go right to the next or previous one if you want to keep reading. And who doesn't like reading lots of old news?

Tiny bit more tidying up of the next/prev news browsing: - jumping into the archive from the "previous month" link at the bottom of the news listings on the site's front page now takes you precisely to the previous news item in the appropriate month's view - jumping from post-by-post to month-by-month browing with the "all news from [this post's month]" link now takes you to that post's place in the month's news list, so you can then scroll through news up or down from that point
