Well I should probably save this for a blog entry or something but what the heck. This animation supposedly illustrates asteroid belt discoveries over the past three decades, and they've got it timed so you can see the discoveries being made in the parts of the belt closest to Earth as their orbits coincide:

The second question here, "Favorite astronomical feature?"--which starts at ~2:35--is one I sent in to them! (Well, I wrote it as a complete sentence, but never mind that. :P) Yay! They had pretty good answers too I guess, although I'll admit I was hoping they'd have one or two really obscure ones. :D
