Videos embedded with the forum's "embed" tag now use YouTube's new "nocookie" embed parameter, so YouTube doesn't send your browser any cookies until you actually click "Play," which is kind of nice.
Also while doing that I inadvertently stumbled across a super-neat You-Tube linking trick! Let's say you want to link someone to that "Turkey in the Straw" video above. Instead of giving them the usual URL for it,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsnZxfkkoKQ, which will bring up the YouTube page with the video in it and all of YouTube's crazy UI around it and user comments and all that, send them
http://www.youtube.com/v/VsnZxfkkoKQ, which is essentially an instantly embedded version outside of any web page, so it just plays the video full-frame in your browser! Man neat. Hm I guess you can't get the full-screen button option there, but it's still pretty big anyway. Also this doesn't work for videos that have embedding disabled!
