The last day was pretty fun - the leveled us all to 99, which enabled use of things like CR1 awakened abilities and zen master. I was one of the lucky few to be granted Compress (one of the meatwadding abilities... possibly for Oligarchs?)... that was pretty neat. Those Unlimit style events must have been a blast from your end, Ben.

Anyway, all present members of my faction, The Watchmen, gathered at Tabor North, our usual hangout, for the finale.



And then, exactly 5 minutes before the end, my power flickered and I had to reboot my computer. I made it back in for literally, the last posisble second. A good number of my friends' final memory of MXO will be my faction chat message, "!@#$%^& POWER SURGE!". Appearantly I missed a beta-esque mass meatwadding. I assumed as much.

Mxo was an amazing game and a huge part of my life. I walk away from it with some of the best friends I could ever hope to have. A lot of the faction play / are in the process of joining Lord of the Rings Online, actually. I'm on the free trial. Its different, but I could enjoy just about anything with them.

Plus, Hobbit Curit!

I believe that was the day before we were levelled to 69, so... Wednesday? Dracomet was spawning angels outside Metacortex, and then helping Houseweart get his FM-1500, then at one point just said "Oh, Rarebits here. He's behind me." "He says there's not enough fire."

Then bam, flame virus.

Yeah some of those admin abilities were pretty fun, I guess. ;) I saw on the GiantBomb footage that some people on Vector got them and sort of ruined PVP as a result, so in the end everyone was just hanging out in the pac zone around Mara C. :p

Ohh, yeah, Walrus and I were watching him at that point, I'm pretty sure the Flame Virus was Walrus' idea though!

Hm yeah probably. I don't really envy Virrago in these last days of the MXO boards, since a lot of people will probably do the usual thing of deciding to "go out with bang" which usually seems to mean gratuitous violation of that forum's posting rules.

this was the first signature after i went so serious with silenci0s character. some of you may know this picture. it's from one of the matrix comics (morning sickness - manex). i never was into comics before but i bought these books for a way too high price as an UK import but it was so worth it. this girl is running like crazy trying to steal this beloved battery and the machines are trying to get her. what a noble gesture. machines are CYPHs in their heart.
for some reason i enjoyed the matrix comics very much... probably even more than the movies. it was the same with the animatrix. i didn't know anything until i watched the second renaissance. back to the animatrix... the first time i went to yuki i was like OMG RUNNING AWAY WON'T CHANGE ANYTHING. i still ran from tengu, well knowing that it was just a simulation... weird. what i am trying to say is... i heard rumors that there is a 3rd volume of the matrix comics. hao can i gets pls? printed version i mean.
i just remember something else. i made up that riddle on slumberil with a 100mil prize. i don't recall who won but it was a tough one. it had to do with neil gaimans goliath. i just mentioned something like 'he who got another chance had how many minutes to live that allowed him to live an entire life again?'.
uh yeah... and emmas vengeance.... i believe only very few know that this shirt u could get in the museum was named emmas vengeance cause of that... i wonder what was there first... the emma comic or the dungeon...
