Yeah! Over the holidays it snowed oh six or ten inches or something, and stayed below freezing for a week, and the entire city was pretty much at a standstill that whole time. We have like two snowplows; oh and no salt, because they thought that was bad for the environment, so they sprinkled *sand* around on some streets, which didn't help at all.

Usually in winter I can leave my two PS3s folding and they keep my tiny apartment pretty warm. I gotta turn them off when it gets hot in the summer though. =p

PSN!! NAO!! :D

Hm? Oh! Well I don't actually play online much, but my American PS3 handle is "Neopaleface." "Rarebit" is on my Japanese one; got some old MXO people invites on that one that I never accepted, come to think of it--thought it might be a conflict of interest. I guess I can now though!

I played the demo; the powers are pretty sweet. Didn't really like the missions all that much, but if I had the cash to spare I'd probably have got it anyway just to run around playing with electricity. I think KOF XII and *maybe* Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (hafta wait for the reviews on that) are the only retail games I'll be picking up over the next few months.

SW:TOR? Y/N?

True story, original Pac-Man is one of the most beastly hard games I know, the ramp up was huge imo.

edIt: the fact that you retained all of your screen shots amazes me, and makes me jealous. I lost 98% of mine due to failure to back up responsibly.

If you're asking *me* about SWTOR, then nah. I don't actually *play* MMOs. ;) I never get beyond the hitting-rats-with-dagger phase.

A buddy of mine explained that to me one day.

"Simply put, you are NEVER going to be as strong in an MMO as you are within the first 10 levels."

Which as I've gone back and thought about it is true.

They start the games off with you being able to run up to whatever the nearest hostile thing is, and utterly dominate it.

This is done so that you can learn what different attacks/abilities do, but it also means you will never have the feeling of power captured again.

You stab rat. rat dies.

vs

You stab giant tentacle monster. It takes 1 damage, leaving over 9000 HP left.
