At least some of what Raj was thinking might be in the public domain. For example, I remember an article which gave a fairly detailed account (detailed to a noob like me anyway) of you running an event, in which it was described how you could see the different characters of a given person, identify new players (you used this to reach out and involve new people, which I thought was so cool), and see much, much more of what was going on for us than I'd have imagined. So some of his question might be fairly harmless. IMHO.

If it's public domain, then by definition you already have the information--anything you don't, isn't. It's people upstairs at SOE (and maybe in some cases WB) who make that call, not me; the game is theirs, not mine. Them choosing to shut it down does not equate to giving me permission to disclose their internal info, and it wouldn't be kind, professional, or legal for me to do so, so I'm not going to. That's really all there is to it, and while I appreciate the dedication people are showing by trying to get unreleased information out of me, it's not going to happen.

Absolutely understood. Maybe our love and our passions get the better of us on occasion.

Man, that was pretty brilliantly orchestrated. Kudos to ManicV.

i still cannot let go. hell if i could explain... people who bothered me for years finally got me into WoW but it's still not the same... i remember when i was with enge1 back then and she was working at that cinema in munich, germany. people were camping in front of that cinema for 3 bloody days to get front row seats for matrix reloaded and i just went there in time (well k i had to drive some time) since she got tickets <3. in the middle of the show there was a fire alarm and everything was interrupted. we all had to get out and there was panic everywhere. thank god nobody was hurt (false alert)... we all made it back and watched the rest of the movie. i always has the privilege to watch the movies first hand but i think that wasn't it. most of the people i talked to simply denied matrix II and III (sry othinn). trying to get involved into other mmo's is simply not possible.... i finished grinding my first wow chars within 2 weeks thanks to all the documents, the next step was to create a private server and populate it... i mean... c'mon what does that have to do with the good old days... what i'm trying to say is: some things turn out to be even better than how u thought they were. <3 mxo

funneh pic to make everehbodeh bettah mood :D

Tbone posted the "Director's Cut" version of The Furious Angels' "All Good Things..." video:

It has an additional five minutes (second half of this YouTube vid):

which are pretty great: beautiful panning shots of characters and the city set against Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," which is pretty darn appropriate, and not just because of Cypher's "Kansas is going bye-bye" line.

MXO was not a game, MXO is a choice, the same Matrix is not a movie or a tales, is a process of the mind, you can choose to ignoe it or not, but is still there since Plato to our time, and the next.....

Took a while but we got there. Myself and Weskie managed to archive all your screenshots of the Live Events you did. Next is posting them all on our forums. Not all of them will be posted because we will only be posting the storyline ones.

Our website is on my profile.
I shall update you on when we finish posting them all!

If there's anything you want from the Matrix boards that isn't already backed up, do it soon. Virrago posted:

"Tomorrow, August 26th the forums will be locked to new posts. Around the 31st or 1st week of September the forums are expected to be taken down."
