You can now click on a comic to go to the next comic, if there is one.

I added chapter titles to the beginning of each set of dailies, so it'll be more obvious when you hit a chapter transition as you flip through them. A side effect of this is that any old daily links around the internet, including in my news section ;), are now off by one. :P

In the daily browsing interface, changed "first daily" and "last daily" to "episode start" and "episode end," so people won't come away thinking that the current episode's worth of dailies is all that there are. I suppose that could still happen, but maybe now it's a little less likely!

Changed my "* * *" text divider / page end to a |337 row of fading · thingies.
Also added those as bookends to the little text blurbs at the head of the front page's news section, where my main business was adding a blurb about supporting A* and getting your name in the next episode's credits (plug plug plug!).
I removed the blurb about starchwar's episode 4 fan trailer from that blurb section because it will be out of date soon, and anyway I'm not sure I want a permanent link leading people away from my site smack in the middle of my main page if I can help it. :o The trailer, which is excellent, is still linked on the about page.
When episode 5 comes along I'll probably switch all movie displays from local flash files to YouTube feeds (since I think episode 5 will be too big to be practical as a Flash file download; the old episode Flash files will still be available from their "files" sections if you need them though), and you can skip from spot to spot in YouTube movies anyway with their play bar, so maybe that will sort of mitigate the need for a constantly updated trailer?
Stumbled across a few tiny things I changed/fixed while doing the middots: - fixed a broken invisible spacer image on the movie pages - fixed a broken cell spacing tag on the daily pages - made art titles links into links on the art gallery pages; they still aren't underlined, because that doesn't look so good there, but you can click 'em anyway

You can now embed YouTube videos in posts on this forum with the "embed" tag shown in the tag list at the top of the post entry toolbar. The format is:
Code:
[embed]embed url *after* "youtube/v/"[/embed]
"url *after* http://www.youtube.com/v/" = in the string found in the "Embed" data field on a YouTube video page, look for where it says "http://www.youtube/v/," copy the code after this, up to the next quotation mark, and put it between the "embed" tags
click the "embed" tag button above the post field to pop the embed tags into the post edit window, and then paste the code segment from the embed data in between them, so it looks like this:
EDIT 2010: YouTube now has new default embed code, and it doesn't support colors or really any other things. So just pop the ID number at the end of the video's URL between the embed tags, like so:
Code:
[embed]f0EZKKjyJgs[/embed]
If you want to use the old embedding code (available by checking the "Use old embed code" box under the embed code copy box on the video's YouTube page), use the new (old) "oldembed" tag.

I realized that the "0x######" bits in YouTube embed URLs are hex color codes for the play bar, so I changed my embedded A* episodes and trailer play bar colors to black, which fits in with the site's (non-)color scheme a bit better. :D
Of course could do your own alternate colors if you wanted...
:o
The first hex code is for the single-pixel border around the bar, and the second one is for the blended color on the bottom of the bar. You can't change the top light-gray color as far as I know.

Set the main top menu links to underline only when you mouse-over them--makes the top nav area feel a little less cluttered.

Moved the next/previous trailer/episode browsing interface up above the embedded YouTube videos on the trailer/movie pages.

Added a Javascript "bookmark" feature to the daily comics, just below the comic. Click "bookmark" and it will save your spot as a browser cookie, so when you come back you just press "goto" from any other comic, say the one on the front page, and it will whisk you back to where you left off before.
Also added in some sneaky stuff in the daily scripts to get people off supermassiveblackholeastar.com if they came in that way. The bookmark buttons won't show up when viewing the site through that domain name; did that to avoid confusion since separate domains (smbhax.com/supermassiveblackholeastar.com) store separate bookmark cookies.
The original source for the thing is here. Thanks to Senshuu of Millennium for pointing it out.
