Oh, they're definately anime-inspred gore fests. Heck, part 1 has a hand-animated segment. But they've also got QT's amazing writing/direting style. I'd say they're (together as one movie) second only to Basterds as his best work.

Hah okay, well I my impressions weren't completely off at least then. ;D

So Basterd's is your new fave of his, eh? Hm... I guess I might put it as my second fave; I'll be pretty surprised if he can ever top Pulp Fiction, though!

Well, the finished product was much more polished than the clip made it appear. Shaky cam is barely present, and the film is edited at a pace that didn't destroy clarity. Hm. I suppose I'll have to bring my Mar voice out of retirment soon, won't I?

"Hiatus" would have been more accurate.

Have you seen Reservoir Dogs? While I do love Pulp Fiction, there is something about Reservoir Dogs that makes it my fave QT movie.

Having said that, there are few cooler fictional characters than The Wolf : )

Have you watched the Kill Bill movies yet? I took them as a tribute to and a satire of the fairly rediculous Japanese Kung-Fu movies and thought they were awesome!! haha

No not yet! I think they didn't have them on PSN anymore when I checked. I haven't watched much of anything lately--except for being dragged out to see Avatar. I gotta stop slackin'!

I love the older Kung Fu movies. Growing up, channel 11 (which was out of New Jersey I think) used to have "Kung Fu Theater" every Saturday morning. It was part of my
Saturday morning ritual: sleep late, bowl of sugary cereal, Cartoons, then a Kung Fu movie from the 70's. Awesome! Def not ridiculous! lol

And Ive resisted seeing Avatar even though everyone seems to love it........Im just saturated with CGI movies. How'd you like it?
