While getting the daily comics going, also made some other related changes:

- The animated banner/logo/slideshow that used to be on the front page is now on the icons page.
- Unlinked the "latest" page, since it was really just meant for crawling by thewebcomiclist's web crawler. I'll delete it as soon as they put up the updated site address I sent them (their crawler should be able to read update data from my front page now).
- All pages on the site will now inform your browser of the RSS feed (Firefox shows an orange box at the right side of your address bar, for instance).

The icons were for adding A* to comic listings on OnlineComics.net and DrunkDuck, respectively; OnlineComics.net is a listing service, and I don't think they've got mine added yet (and their site's been kind of up and down today, phew), but they have a nifty automatic update notification system to let people who watch the listings there know when I add a new daily--thanks to the tipster who reminded me to try that site again!--while DrunkDuck is a hosting service, where I'll be co-hosting the dailies to get them more exposure.

The first variant banner is for a logo on DrunkDuck, and the second one is one I'll be using for advertising--added a dash of color to make sure people are clued in on the new dailies thing. One nice thing about working in black and white most of the time is that when you do add a spot of color somewhere, it really stands out!

That's probably the last of the mileage I'll try getting out of that particular banner artwork--I think some of the stuff I'll be drawing for episode 5 will end up replacing it.

Phew got on more listing sites and added these links to the "about" page:

A* on WebcomicZ.com (vote!)

Which of course required some new icons since all these sites use different sizes :P; these have been added to the "icons" page:

Made the "event horizon" curve below the top menu fade at the ends like the inverted forum version did already.

I'd been experimenting with fancier css background stuff after kind of liking the centered "event horizon" vertical border look on my DrunkDuck A* page, but my minimalist tendencies kept vetoing them for the main site. :P

- Added link to and listing (pending) on another comic list site, the nice and streamlined Comic Alert!

- Put a little more space between the Daily images and the text/ui above and below them.

Added a link to the Daily comic version of each episode from the episode's movie page.

The new links are A* on Smack Jeeves and A* on Comic Space, both of them comic mirror sites.

That means I'm now uploading dailies to four sites (those plus my own and Drunk Duck)--that's a lot of uploading! I'll have to see if the three mirrors get enough hits to make the extra effort worthwhile. Drunk Duck's been doing respectably so far.

Updated the about page link for my weekly strip, "The Princess and the Giant," since I gave it a friendlier URL: princess.smbhax.com.

Changed the "latest episode (x)" menu item to "latest movie (x)" since we now have daily and movie pages per episode.
