Recommended Mega Drive emulator https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Sega_Genesis_emulators but kinda bare-bones--not many command-line options, keys sometimes flake out (?), and no autosave on exit, for instance.

There's a GUI but doesn't have all the settings, like you have to set "scaling nearest" in the config to stop blurry filtering.
Also no fast-forward hold. |
