| | | Unlike VT 3 and 4, 2009 was not an arcade game. Was "Power Smash: Live Match!" in JP. |

| | | | Managunz File Manager disc rip says 9696 files, 3.61 GB (didn't copy PS3_UPDATE folder). |
| | | | Oh man copying this many files takes forever, I cancelled hoping to find maybe a way to compress the files first, didn't find such a thing in Managunz (and it took a while to delete the fraction I'd copied when deleting the folder in Managunz); it does have a dump as encrypted/decrypted iso option but not so sure about that, RPCS3 doesn't run isos so I'd probably just have to un-process it again somehow. There's Managunz's "Make PKG" option but I'm not so sure about that for dumping a disc game. |
| | | | Ended up taking about 25 minutes to dump. |

| | | | A photo of the X360 version case back I saw on the internet said that one has 1080p support; this PS3 version is only 720p (PS3 VT3 is 1080p, PS3 VT4 is 1080i in U/C, 1080p in PAL. : P) |

| | | | Sega AM3 (later called Hitmaker; they also did Sega Rally, Crazy Taxi, Virtual On) did the arcade and PS3 versions of VT3--Sumo Digital did the other ports of it. But Sumo did all the VT2009 versions--it wasn't an arcade game. BUT AM3 did all the VT4 versions. |
| | | | This Sumo game feels pretty blah and uninspired, lacking zip and creativity in presentation and gameplay; even the minigames in World Tour feel boring. Maybe this is just me looking for convenient excuses but I could be playing actual Sega AM3-made games, so I'm gonna skip this. |
