Playing local co-op (there is no online play in the ACA NEOGEO games) with a friend all the way through the Jungle Route--one of three separate paths to the final stage; you can switch routes midway through, I think--of ACA NEOGEO Shock Troopers on a PS4 Pro, on the default level 4 difficulty.
We both picked the "LONLY WOLF" game mode on the Player Select screen, where you get three lives with one of the eight playable characters (me mostly using Marie Bee, and my friend starting with Maru, but later just using the default (you have to re-select characters when continuing) main character, Jackal); this video doesn't show the other game mode you can pick at character select, "TEAM BATTLE"; in that mode, you pick three characters, and get one life with each, being able to switch between them and their separate health meters and ammo stocks at will during gameplay--but if you die as one of them, you can no longer switch to that character.
It's a really fun game! Looking forward to playing the other two routes, Mountain and Valley. |
