| | | I owned the previous Steam releases of Final DOOM, DOOM II, and Master Levels for DOOM II--and this new "DOOM + DOOM II" just showed up in my library, no purchase required.
On launch from the library, there's an option to launch the DOS version, which brings up a menu of the various games:
1 - The Ultimate DOOM
2 - DOOM II: Hell on Earth
3 - The Master Levels for DOOM II
4 - Final Doom: TNT
5 - Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment
Surprisingly, for the new "DOOM + DOOM II" versions--not the DOS versions--there's an option turn to turn off the old screen flash effect when picking up armor, etc (and it's even now off by default!):
Also surprisingly, while it is possible by default in the included DOS versions, in the "DOOM + DOOM II" versions, there's no way to turn using the keyboard; "turn left" and "turn right" are not mappable actions--you can only turn using a mouse or controller.
