| | | | From Steam. A graphical version of NetHack, looks and sounds pretty nice although the icons are huge and although keyboard commands still work and in many cases would be faster, it's hard to find a list of the keys. Doesn't seem like it would be particularly easy to map to a controller. |

| | | | My Dwarf Knight got blinded on level 2 of the dungeon and there didn't seem to be a way to fix it so eh hm. : P |
| | | | It made me want to go play the regular terminal version but at https://alt.org/nethack/ sheesh--mid-keyboard circle of characters (or numeric keypad) for movement, etc. |
| | | | Yeah, it's basically made to be played with mouse. |
| | | | Have to avoid the Gnollhack wiki as it allows AI art ; P. (But they make a point of not allowing AI stuff in the game itself--so why allow it in the wiki? sheesh. eugh) |
| | | | Can't install the installer off GitHub -- https://github.com/hyvanmielenpelit/GnollHack/releases -- because it doesn't have a verified signature. : P Steam version works. |
| | | | Ah blah they also allow AI use by coders. Do all devs do that now? Anyway I'm out. |
| | | | Bleh I rationalized it because I still kinda liked the game art and I tried playing more but it felt like just clicking on random monsters and I got bored. ; P SHOULD'A stopped at AI USE WHERE IS THE STRENGTH OF MY CONVICTIONS. |
