Recommended ColecoVision emulator https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/ColecoVision_emulators , I think one of the older ones--and hasn't been updated since 2020, but one of the two I could get to run the ROMs from Steam's ColecoVision Flashback without needing a BIOS file.

Simple enough to get unfiltered full-screen games going, but very low on options--not even vsync toggle?--and no command-line?--and sounds like remapping joystick or key functions requires looking them up one at a time in a special mode of the emulator, then punching the right input name into a text file. Also FELT like maybe slightly more sluggish than the other one I got to work without BIOS, ColEm, although I didn't do an actual input delay test. But given all that I'll probably just be sticking to ColEm unless I run into a major compatibility problem there.

Dev says Coleco BIOS is "integrated in the emulator"--so that's why it runs without user needing to add the usual COLECO.ROM file. So, not legal. 'p'
