One of the recommended https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/ColecoVision_emulators and perhaps longer-running ColecoVision emulators, and one of two emulators I could get to load the ROMs from ColecoVision Flashback without needing a BIOS file. The other, CoolCV, was very light on options, whereas this has pretty much the standard level of options, and lots of command-line options with good documentation, so I'll probably stick to this unless I run into a compatibility issue.

| | | OH. ColEm's download includes the COLECO.ROM BIOS file; it MD5 checks as an actual 8KB Coleco BIOS file, not some kind of backwards-engineered thing or stand-in or something. Without it, the emulator crashes. Anyway, looks like this isn't gonna fly.
(That COLECO.ROM magically also makes the other emulators I tried work: Mesen, BizHawk, Ares, Gearcoleco. 'p') |
