This game sucks. Sure, it sounds great: run along as a little bald kid with an axe and beat on stuff. How can you go wrong? Well, throw in blind jumps up and down where you can't tell what you're going to land on (An enemy? a platform? a death pit? Jump and find out!) plus constantly respawning enemies (And how! They just stream out of their midair spawn point one after the next--and Capcom didn't bother giving the spawn point any art, so they're just appearing in thin air right, say, over a death pit), and you've got a frustrating rather than a fun game. Who comes up with this stuff?

Oh, I forgot the weird weapon thing. You start with an axe and as you go along you find a spear, a flail, and then... an axe! The exact same axe! And if you die and get back to the axe spawner, now it's... a spear! The same spear as before! Why bother switching weapons at all? Who cares?

Japanese name is anglicized as "Tora e no Michi"; the title screen has the Japanese bitmapped Kanji with "TIGER ROAD" in smaller plain type below.

Tora e no Michi / Tiger Road (PC Engine) game HuCARD only. US Seller Tested

~ ~ ~

This is the game "Tora e no Michi / Tiger Road" for the Japanese PC Engine game system ("PCE"). Includes the actual game HuCARD only--none of the original packaging is included.

HuCARD only. There are several light scuff marks on the back of the card. I tested the HuCARD and it played with no problems.

Please note that this is the Japanese version of the game, requiring a Japanese PC Engine system for play; it will NOT play in a western TurboGrafx-16 system.

If the winning bid is $80 or more I will upgrade the shipping to USPS Priority Mail at no charge--the shipping will remain free, just faster.

Bids on this item do NOT require a payment method.
