| | | | These slimmed-down versions of the Pocket Color (see entry 900) came out late in the system's life, and only in Japan. Aside from a marginally smaller footprint, more rounded edges, and a beefed-up speaker, they are for all intents and purposes identical to the NGPC. I find that the slight decrease in bulk makes them much easier to slip into one's pocket, however, and the rounded grips make them more comfortable to hold. A nice refinement of an already keen system. |

This NGPC system is in full working order, and in good cosmetic condition.
I've tested it with US and Japanese games and it plays them just fine, with no region lock. This "slim" model NGPC that came out later in Japan has a slightly smaller profile, rounded corners, and different battery door covers compared with the boxier original NGPC.
The auction does NOT include the required batteries--two AA and one CR2032; you will have to supply those batteries yourself.
The auction includes JUST the Neo Geo Pocket Color system itself--no box or packaging or anything. |
