| | | Steam. Free to play, with the icky Mary Shelley's Frankenstein as a free table. Can buy Stern, Gottlieb, Sega tables in packs. Can launch either DX9 or DX11 versions, although DX11 version comes out in a blurry vertical screen--made for virtual cabs maybe? DX9 version looks like up-rezzed version of the PS3 game but takes up 20 GB. 'p' Washed out grey with harsh two-state flickering for lighting FX, not so easy on the eyes. Play feels okay but then you look at something like current Pinball FX and can see that the ball moves like liquid there while here it just plods along. The UI is clunky, confusing, and ugly. I got into the operator mode for I guess Frankenstein but couldn't seem to get it to do anything except show diagnostics, whee. |
