Added 1 new A* page:I kept drawing and erasing this page today because I'd find the eye wasn't in the correct spot. Finally a relatively sharp take on it appeared and all seemed well, but it was late and I wasn't brave so I didn't check the layout in the mirror—until afterward, when I realized the eye was yet again out of the technically correct position, in more or less the same way, yet again.
This is of course all an excuse but it strikes me that maybe my subconscious is doing this on purpose because something about it just seems more dramatic or pleasing to me somehow. And you couldn't do it if there was another eye there, because everything would instantly look weird; which also could explain why, in my backwards way, I have trouble drawing both eyes. :P
Anyway have you ever seen faces from an angle? They look weird. It's true. Fortunately, in a drawing I can cheat and make it look all right. . )
