Didn't get actual art done today. I did though get some A* art actually mailed off to Europe, after my local USPS mail clerks had agreed yesterday that First Class International Parcel shipping was just unavailable to a certain country there, because they couldn't get their computer to ring up my postage. : P
Well, after two calls to USPS tech support—both of which provided both incorrect and correct information of different types—fumbling around for an hour or two with USPS's online Click-N-Ship service, a trip to the free printing service at the local library, and a walk back across town to the post office, I got the art shipped off today. The USPS clerk, the same one as had tried to help me the day before, was suitably impressed and said she'd learned something—she had been under the impression that their Click-N-Ship service couldn't do First Class postage.
But it did International First Class Parcel postage for me, anyway, so now I have a way to get A* art shipped if the post office ever has trouble creating their own postage for me again. : )
