If you want a weird old game to play for free through that web browser, there's Valhalla MUD, an online multiplayer text-based RPG originally launched in 1991 by computer science students at the University of Copenhagen. For the first quest, you can buy some bread for this weird guy hanging out near the start point. Then you find your way through a forest and a city to get him some water. Then something about taking care of a goblin or something plaguing his cousin's farm...I didn't get that far. = o Anyway I seem to like the idea of typing to accomplish great feats, I wonder why that is.
